Shine Brightly With Moist Diane

One of the most common questions people tend to ask me is ‘how old are you?’; and most of them guess me younger than I actually am based on my appearance (✿◠‿◠). Do you know how old I am precisely? (grins) Beside maintaining a good skin complexion, hair is another part of my body which I put in effort, time and money in taking care. I believe hair influences the impressions of others have on the person’s age. In fact, hair impacts women’s first impression approximately 95% while others feel sorry about women unconcerned about their hair approximately 81% respectively! Hence it is not far fetch to say that women wish for bright, shiny hair!

If you think you have to spend a bomb in getting shiny and bright hair, you might want to think twice about that. It is without a doubt that getting hair treatment in hair saloon is one of the best and fastest way in achieving a luminous, vibrant hair but its also the most expensive method ($$$). There’s another way of achieving similar result at a fraction of the price you pay in hair saloon which is hair care products.Recently I’ve been using Moist Diane Extra Shine hair care range which is suitable for all hair types especially dull and lifeless hair.

It works in two steps; first step is promote light reflection. Moist Diane exclusive mesh-structured ingredients for light and weightless coating on hair without burden. Incorporated in the new generation of platinum fiber oil shampoo, it repairs damaged hair by coating each strand, enhancing light reflection for smoother looking locks. In addition Nano platinum booster technology increase hair shine and allows deep penetration of Nano particles for repairing and moisturizing of the hair.

Second step is moisturizes hair roots by incorporating 8 types of oils & 3 fruit extracts for shiny, healthy hair. Key Ingredients such as Moroccan Argan oil has outstanding biochemical properties for both cleansing and rejuvenating skin and hair; Baobab oil pampers hair with high amounts of vitamins A & E, and omega-6 & 9; virgin coconut oil has anti-bacterial, anti-inflammatory and anti-oxidant activities which penetrates deep into the skin. Other ingredients also include Marula oil, Andiroba oil, Lupine oil, virgin plum oil, mango seeds oil, lime pearl extract, Superox-C and dragon fruit extract.

Don’t get headache from reading the list of ingredients as I know it may sounds too scientific to understand (lough out loud) (≧∇≦). All you need to know that it benefits for your hair by:-
  1. Restore dull and lifeless hair
  2. Promotes shine for healthy looking locks
  3. Detangles hair and prevent tangles
  4. Moisturizes and repair damaged cuticles
  5. Preserve youthful appearance
Based on my experience, I notice a sweet floral aroma as I started to use the hair products. I start off by washing my hair with Moist Diane Shiny Shampoo ‘Extra Shine’ followed by Moist Diane Shiny Treatment ‘Extra Shine’ as hair conditioner. Besides that, I use Moist Diane Repaid Hair Mask ‘EXTRA Damage Repair’ twice per week as a follow up treatment. Visible results can be seen after continuous usage of the hair products where I can feel my hair become ‘brighter’ and less dull. Furthermore I notice my hair getting less tangles and smoother at the same time ヽ(´▽`)/.

As mentioned in my previous blog posts, I always aim for black shiny straight hair instead dramatic hair colors/styles. I have pass the stage of coloring my hair with vibrant colors where bleaching are needed some times in order to get the color I wanted before. Consequently my hair suffered a considerable damage from the chemical process which created twisted, rough, dry and unmanageable hair (</3) (T▽T). Since then I have been focusing on achieving healthy bright hair which requires constant hair management. Therefore, I strongly encourage you to use good yet suitable hair products at home because they help to create luminous, healthy hair in the long run without burning a hole in your wallet (^_-)-☆.

Flash Mob + GRADUAN ASPIRE Career & Postgraduate Fair 2016

Recently I went to Pavilion for a day of shopping when I saw a huge crowd gathering at the main entrance near the fountain area. As I slowly approached the crowd (since I was curious myself), I bumped into Fish and of course, we took a ‘wefie’ together since it’s been a while we saw each other (^ω^). Then both of us stayed for a while to watch the flash mob and we were drawn in by the dancers’ high energy performance and high spirit! It got me moving my body while watching the flash mob (plus taking photos & video at the same time) where the dancers were performing at their highest level of energy *\0/*.

I believe you can sense the high energy just by looking at the photos of the dancers doing their ‘thang’ during the flash mob (/◕ヮ◕).

UNITEN Open Day | The Next Chapter

Not many of you would know that I have recently graduated from my Bachelor Degree; in fact my convocation ceremony is within a week time. How fast time flies! I don’t know about you but I didn’t know what to do upon leaving high school. If you’re reading this AND if you just gotten your SPM or STPM result, are you feeling confuse like I was? In this day and age we have wide choices when comes to tertiary education so it’s understandable why fresh high school graduates get easily confuse on what to do with their lives.

It was UNITEN Open Day on the 5th March 2016 so I decided to drop by the main campus located in Putrajaya. I wanted to inquire about its post-graduate courses since it has always been a dream of mine to get a Master degree. I know I may not seem like one, and this fact may shock you as well but I enjoy studying; hehe.

UNITEN is located between Kajang and Putrajaya, it is amongst the first and biggest private universities in Malaysia. UNITEN offers engineering and IT courses at its main campus where as the second campus located at Bandar Muadzam Shah, Pahang handle business and accounting related courses. Once I stepped inside, I was shocked to see the overwhelming crowd on a Saturday morning!

In fact, most of the them had enrolled online because they enjoyed exclusive offers such as waived processing and commitment fees given during the Open Day! Hence a good tip for you, always do your research online first because university tends to give discounts and offers for new students intake as nowadays everything can be done online.

Everyone can visit freely in the hall of exhibition with different booths from each faculty such as College of Foundation and General Studies (CFGS), College of Engineering (COE), College of Business Management & Accounting (COBA), College of Information Technology (COIT) and College of Graduate Studies. The numbers of intake annually are during the months of January, March, May and October.

Besides that, students of UNITEN presented their projects during the Open Day to showcase the fruits of their labor. It’s pretty interesting as we can see what the students are actually accomplishing in the university.

Personally I like these adorable robots which were made by the students themselves.

Wondering what was I doing here? Well this is one of the students’ projects I was mentioning about, that allowed me to see and hear what they were projecting on the laptop. Literally I was jumping into an ocean, next I was transported to a rainforest and then to a mountain trail; if only I was able to screenshot what I saw. LOL.

It was nice of these three students asking to take a photo with me and Cindy, and of course we were more than happy to do so. *smiles*

Being a Tenaga Nasional University, UNITEN is famed for its reputable Engineering course for producing undergraduates and postgraduates who rise up among the best in the nation! However its business-related courses are on par as well or not I wouldn’t have went to inquire about a Master degree in Business-related course. Did you know that UNITEN also offers ACCA course where few papers are exempted under UNITEN because its recognized by the ACCA board.

One of the best project accomplishments displayed during the Open Day was the electric car made by a team of UNITEN students. To be more precise, it took a manpower of 30 students as well as a time period of 4 months to complete this car as the internal overhaul was done by both students and lecturers.

On the other hand, this is a solar car which was also made by UNITEN students and lecturers.

Don’t be mistaken, as this is not my electric motorbike. It’s just me inside one! :P

Before I left, I took a quick tour around the campus. Now I understand how UNITEN is the biggest private university in Malaysia as the campus is humongous and well-equipped with various facilities. UNITEN provides basic amenities such as mosque and food court to golf driving range! If you need to do some shopping, no worries as IOI City Mall is just around the corner; talk about convenience.

Worry of accommodation? Fret not as students from afar can always opt to rent rooms from the hostel apartment provided inside the campus itself.

Moreover, high achievers should take note on the scholarships available in UNITEN such as Yayasan Tenaga Nasional, Yayasan Khazanah, PDIM and so forth. Sounds interesting doesn’t it? *grins* Feel free to call them at +603-8921 2020 for more details, or you can visit their official website, www.uniten.edu.my and Facebook page, www.facebook.com/uniten.

Good news! UNITEN will be having their next Open Day on 7th & 8th May 2016. Great opportunity for fresh high school graduates to learn more about programmes being offered while at the same time explore the university surrounding and its environment.
