What Happens With Love?

If you find yourself in love with someone who does not
love you, be gentle with yourself. There is nothing
wrong with you. Love just didn’t choose to rest in the
other person’s heart.

If you find someone else in love with you and you don’t
love her/him, feel honored that love came and called at
your door, but gently refuse the gift you cannot
return. Do not take advantage, do not cause pain.

How you deal with love is how you deal with you, and
all our hearts feel the same pains and joys, even if
our lives and ways are different.

If you fall in love with another, and he falls in love
with you, and then love chooses to leave, do not try to
reclaim it or to assess blame, Let it go. There is a
reason and there is a meaning. You will know in time.

Remember that you don’t choose love. Love chooses you.
All you can really do is accept it for all its mystery
when it comes into your life. Feel the way it fills you
to overflowing, then reach out and give it away.

Give it back to the person who brought it alive in you.
Give it to others who deem it poor in spirit.
Give it to the world around you in anyway you can.

This is where many lovers go wrong. Having been so long
without love, they understand love only as a need.
They see their hearts as empty places that will be
filled by love, and they begin to look at love as
something that flows to them rather than from them.

The first blush of new love is filled to overflowing,
but as their love cools, they revert to seeing their
love as need. They cease to be someone who generates
love and instead become someone who seeks love.

They forget that the secret of love is that it is a
gift, and that it can be made to grow only by giving it
away.

Remember this, and keep it to your heart. Love has its
own time, its own seasons, and its own reason for
coming and going. You cannot bribe it or coerce it, or
reason it into saying. You can only embrace it when it
arrives and give it away when it comes to you.

But if it chooses to leave from your heart or from the
heart of your lover, there is nothing you can do and
there is nothing you should do. Love always has been
and always will be a mystery.

Be glad that it came to live for a moment in your life.
Don’t deny love just only you don’t want to be hurt…
If you keep you hear open, it will come again.

I receive this poem from a friend of mine after he read my recent blog post. I’m quite fortunate to have such good friends surrounding me to keep reminding me the goodness in life. *hugs* Thank you so much for lifting up my spirit with such an inspiration poem. For those who are feeling the same way as I do before, it might do you some good in reading this. :)

Al-Amar Express Review

Courtesy of Al-Amar Express & Malaysia's Hottest Bloggers , I was  treated to delicious Lebanese cuisine which is located right in front of the main entrance of Farenheit 88. This restaurant features a modern, hip & contemporary space with cozy furniture  custom-designed including touches of Al-Almar’s signature stamp of red.

As can see from the outside, the exterior side of the restaurant is covered with glass walls where customers can enjoy watching the busy crowds of KL stroll by. There are also numerous black wire chandeliers suspended at the high ceiling which gives a soft shimmering glow. Where as textures & colors of the interior come in a soft soothing shades of cream & beige with wooden floor.

The restaurant can accommodate up to 80 persons and has both indoor and alfresco dining areas. The menu consists of a combination of Lebanese wraps, healthy sandwiches, chawarms, salads & Manakeesh (Lebanese pizzas). After tasting it personally, I got to say their food tasted really good especially their desserts. hehe…

I absolutely love their Tiramisu. Making me craving for it now. lol.

 

Beside the attractive lunch combos & dinner, Al-Amar Express is also open for breakfast & serves a variety of Lebanese pastries & the prices starts from RM8-RM25 per dish. Besides thats, a Lebanese restaurant will not be complete without…… Shisha! Guests can also choose from an extensive range of fruit flavored Shishas on the veranda while listening to hip chill-out lounge music.

It has been a long time since the last time I Shisha… :P

Laura Mercier Lingerie Spring 2012

Recently Malaysia's Hottest Bloggers was invited to attend the launching of Laurier Mercier new spring color collection. As you can see, I was a part of it as well. It’s always good to learn new make up tips especially for a newbie like me. hehe. Their theme for this collection is called Lingerie, embodying the concept of romantic, feminine & playful. I like the theme because it just reminds me good girl gone bad; don’t ask me why. :P

For Spring 2012, she focuses on the soft romantic colors & fabrics of the Victorian Age. Her collection is a modern interpretation of this feminine era, showcasing a palette of colors inspired by Boudoir vintage lingerie: lace, linen, silks, and petticoats.

The look for this season is ultra-feminine lips and cheeks are in shades of warm corals and modern peaches while eyes are alluring in neutral browns and taupe greys.

I love the flowy chiffon as it drapes on my body while the shoulder padding give it a structure shape. Moreover its made of light weight chiffon material that suits our weather in Malaysia making it comfortable to wear despite the hot weather. Not forgetting the sweet & demure peach color which compliments with my skin color well. How not to to fall in love with it I ask you? *double winks*

I can officially say that this cardigan is my favorite outer wear in my wardrobe. Now I'm always looking forward to check out Whitesoot’s updates everyday though I know when they update their new arrivals. lol! The clothes are reasonably priced as the quality is there. So I can pretty sure to say its worth buying. Besides if you have any inquiries, Estee & Bryan are more than willing to help you out. I was happy & satisfy the whole time dealing with them. :)

Painting My Life With Colors

Have you realize that life is literally full of colors? I can pretty say that I love colors very much. But do you know when I was “fat” (chubby) a couple of years back, I was afraid to wear color clothes? Especially bright colors. It was because I noticed when I wore bright colors, it makes me look even fatter. *smack forehead* But it is a true fact. Yes I was very self conscious about my weight & size. I think it was because I was teased a lot, especially from the guy I had a crush on back then. That will most probably explains why about 90% of the clothes in my wardrobe was in black color. lol.

However time has passed & I have also change for the better. Now I’m not afraid to put on bright colors clothing! *winks*









The dress I wore in these photos is currently my most favorite dress. Know why? Well it has my favorite colors which are blue & purple! I got it from ASOS if you’re curious. hehe. Since the dress is outstanding by itself so I just wore a pair of earrings to add on a little bit of sparkle on the overall look. I find its important to add on colors into life, whether is little or a lot. Don’t you feel living in a black & white life is dull? I used to had that kind of life but I’m glad I have turnover a new leave. So not why not you?

It’s time of the year again! Student council from the Business Department of HELP University is organizing prom 2012 called Baile de Máscarade! It is an annual event for HELP Business Department which they usualy have it in the beginning of the year. :)

Where will the prom be held? I’m happy to say that Baile de Máscarade will be held at Renaissance Hotel which is a well known five-star hotel! I celebrated my 20th birthday at there as well so I know how luxurious this hotel is. hehe. The date is set on the 16th of March 2012. In addition, they will be having an array of amazing performance throughout the night.



As for the price, I find it appropriate since it will be held at a 5 star hotel. The early bird prices are RM130 per pax & RM1,200 per table (10 pax). So, feel free to invite your byfriend, girlfriend, brother, sister, cousin, friends & so on. lol! Basically you can invite anyone you wish to. Moreover it will be more cheaper going with your friends so why not get as many of your friends to enjoy awesome event! You have to hurry yea as the seats are  LIMITED.
