Night of Darts

Last week, I received a sudden call from Johanna to have a night out with her brother & friends. At first I said no because I had a pile of work to finish. However, I managed to finish some work faster than I expected so at the end, I joined them also. I didn’t know the place they were heading actually, all I knew the place is in Scott Garden.

Since it was a casual Friday night, my choice of outfit was a cage back top paired with a high waist short. :)

Overnight Johanna has became my little sister. hehe!


We went to i Dart which is the first electronic dart pub in Malaysia (according to Sam). lol. I think the last time I played darts was during primary school & it wasn’t this kind of fancy type as well. The ones I used to play are the ones selling in toy stores which you bring back home & hang on the wall. haha!

We had 3 bottles of Gold Label that night if I’m not mistaken.


Oh yea, since they go there every week so they have practically became the VIPs which explains why we had our own private area. heh. I was hesitating to play in the beginning because I knew I suck in it & secondly I didn’t want to injure anyone with my uncontrollable flying darts. But guess what, I didn’t totally suck! As a matter of fact, I like to play darts after playing with the guys. Thanks to Sam for teaching me as well & he too overnight has became my brother. ^.^

I’m really glad that I went out with them or not I would have miss out so much fun! Also I wouldn’t know that dart is such a fun game to play if I skip out the night. We drank a lot & quite fast too, considering the way we drank the whole time was bottoms up only. *no eyes to see* lol! Though I had a slight hangover the next day, I truly enjoyed myself that night. *big wide smile*

AFC Chalk & Cheese

One of Malaysia most well know TV personality celebrity, Jojo Struys is heading straight into the kitchen for a brand new challenge! At the moment, she has been TV hosting, directing, producing, radio deejaying & also being a columnist for Malaysia’s leading English newspaper (The Star). What an amazing portfolio she has isn’t it.

Now she is the host  of  ‘Chalk and Cheese’ which features a 12 episode series premiering February 20^th every Monday night at 9pm on prime time, on the Asian Food Channel. She is not alone on the show, her partner in crime is the award winning German chef, Chef Tommes, who is also the proud owner of ‘That Little Wine Bar’ based in Penang, Malaysia.



In ‘Chalk and Cheese’ viewers will be able to witness how Jojo & Chef Tommes share their passion for food despite both of them coming from two very distinctive background, from appearance to personalities to working environment. He has spent most of his working life in a professional kitchen where she has spent most of her carreer in the entertainment field, either in front or behind a camera.

Says Struys, “I love new challenges. Food was a genre I was passionate about but I had never done a food show. Working alongside such an experienced chef was a priveledge. I’ve learnt so much!” Previously Jojo Struys had hosted various health programmes in the past , she knows her food well to know what are the benefits of certain ingredients. At the same time, Chef Tommes ‘makes it tasty’ with the array of dishes he cooks.



Executive Producer/Director of Kyanite.tv, Michael Lim says, “Filming Chalk and Cheese was a very different experience from the travel and reality shows we usually produce. This show was all about the details, and bringing out the vibrant colours of every dish and capturing the chemistry of Chef Tommes and Jojo. They are really different people but they just clicked. We had a blast!”

Are You Sure You’re Alone? Forever?

Have you realize that this month’s trend is #foreveralone or #aloneforever? I guess is most probably because of the influence of Valentine’s day. For those of you who have someone to celebrate with, good for you then. However not all of us are that fortunate yet to have that special someone to celebrate with. Hence, if you have been observant enough, you can see single people (including myself) tweeting, facebook-ing about being alone, no one want to be with me & blah blah blah...

Normally people tends to take the fact of being alone to be a bad thing. But… if you can look at it properly, you can actually see the silver lining at the end of the road. Don’t get what I mean? Well then you have to watch this video produced by my friends. ;)

To be really honest, after watching this video I was moved, genuinely I was & I’m still actually. Then something deep inside of me realize something… I’ve experience it before… I went through what the girl portrait in the video. A sudden conscious feeling arise within myself; I feel guilty. Towards the guy whom I unconsciously put him through the process of being there for me when I needed someone to hold onto & didn’t realize he soon developed feelings for me. By the time I realize it, I took the coward road & pretended nothing has happened. If you’re reading this, I hope you can accept my sincere apology. Despite of what has happened so far, I’m really thankful that you still being a good friend to me. Thank you…

I hope for those who are reading this, you’ll be able to learn something from watching this video. For the mean time, just believe because is just a matter of time. :)

Smile Even Through Your Tears

Time passes by fast don’t you think so? Somehow I feel my semester 1 is flying with jet speed. Started the semester in the beginning of January & now is already near to end of February where my midterm is just right around the corner. Not forgetting the continuous assignments which comes right after the other. To be honest, I can’t keep track with the number of assignments I have & when they are due as well. *smack forehead*

Nonetheless with all the work at hand, I still manage to find time to relax & have fun with friends. If I don’t do that, I think I will go nuts doing work & assignment all the time. Like the saying goes, ‘all work and no play makes Jack a dull boy’. *giving excuses* lol! Thank you God I have friends who can't stand to be at home. teehee! Normally I won’t have much time to camwhore unless the person fetching me comes very late; hence this explains the vain photos below. XD











That person came quite late so I had a lot of spare time after dolling up myself. You know who you are. *coughs coughs* :P But it would definitely be more fun if I had someone to camwhore with; two is better than one right. hehe. After nights of party, is time to get back on assignments & work. Still having trouble in doing my assignment especially when the concept has change from being a 10-person-job to one person job. So can you imagine the amount of workload needed to be done? *big sigh*

I got to start on my assignment now. Ciao peeps! ;)

Valentine’s Day With The People I Love

Hey boys & girls, how was your Valentine’s day? I had an awesome time celebrating with my three best friends. *super big wide smile* Unfortunately Reiko couldn’t join in as she was busy celebrating with her man. lol. Nonetheless, we ladies certainly had as much fun celebrating like others. All of us were having classes during the day; hence we planned to celebrate at night. When Jaime & Amber picked me up from my place, we decided to have our dinner at Midvalley.

As expected, almost all the dining areas were packed but luckily we managed to get a place @ Delicious.

The answer is shopping! *whoots* Accompanied Amber to get her heels which she was desperately looking for one. After a few shops, she managed to find a pair of black heels at Nose.

Thank you so much my dearies  for celebrating Valentine’s Day with me. I couldn’t have ask for a better night. *hugs* This proves that we must hang out more often because this outing made me realize how much I miss you awesome girls! Thank you for being a part of my life; honestly my life wouldn’t be same without you gals.

Relationship comes and goes, friendship remains. Best friends for life. ♥ ♥ ♥

Asahi Night @ The Library

Last week I got my hands full with assignment so I didn’t have much time to do anything else. However, luck was on my side because I completed my assignment at the nick of time for Asahi beer night.  Not forgetting the fantastic companions I had that night as well. I got to say my life is getting better by the minute. ;)

In addition, it was also the grand launch of The Library, located at Subang Jaya. Killing two birds with one stone don’t you think so. hehe. The first thing greeted me was the cool Asahi Draught which of course, was free flow for the entire night. *evil laughs* XD

The main performance of the night was a band called Mad Sally. All of them came from Germany & they have been living in Malaysia for quite some time. I went nuts when they played songs like Boogie Wonderland by Earth, Wind & Fire, Stayin' Alive, F*ck You by Cee Lo Green, It's My Life by Bon Jovi & so much more. My body couldn’t stop dancing listening to songs & I danced until I sweat profusely!
