Le Ann Maxima's Fall/Holiday 2012-13 Collection

Last week, Le Ann Maxima showcase their latest fall/winter collection at their concept store in Jaya One & I was one of the fortunate people who witness their fashion preview. I really like their new collection which is based on the dominant theme of Cleopatra followed by exotic prints & prime color blocking. Trust me if you were sitting next to me during the fashion show, you can hear me saying, ‘OMG, I want that; that’s so pretty; I want that too!”.  Certainly my favorite pieces from them are the prints design; it made me fell in love once my eyes laid upon it.

Do you know that Cleopatra represents sensuality, lust, allure, beauty & desirability of an ancient Egyptian icon until now? If you don't know who is Cleopatra (which I highly doubt), you should watch the movie where Elizabeth Taylor acted as Cleopatra back in 1963. I love it how Elizabeth Taylor portrait the character of Cleopatra, a sensual beauty. I managed to capture most of the outfits shown on the runway but I only pick out the ones I like & that alone is quite a lot. I was having a hard time to pick which outfit to show you guys because I love almost all of them!

Simple skater dress which you can easily wear from day to night just by matching the right accessories.
 

A fun bubbly toga dress for a day outing, don’t you think so? Every girl needs one in her wardrobe.
 

This is one maxi dress that will make you go, “WOW”, with it’s open slit up to the thigh…


… together with the sexy back. *drools*


Beside Cleopatra, the designers of Le Ann Maxima also took their inspiration from Chinoiserie, an European artistic style which is influenced by Chinese culture. So you can see a part of their collection features asymmetry format, whimsical scale contrast, lacquerlike materials & decorations. In addition, I like it how they blend in different type of designs, shapes, prints & materials into one single collection, such as striped chiffon, shine organza, new cotton twill, with light weight crepe, printed sequins & viscose.

Sexy see through lace top matched with asymmetrical high low satin skirt.


Golden bronze lacquer dress with matching waist belt.


Emerald green maxi dress paired up with the golden bronze lacquer jacket.


Simple demure dress which is suitable for both work & play.


Classic peplum top with panel detailing together with a sweet blue lace short.


I think this would be the perfect dress for going out on dates because it’s just so sweet & innocent. hehe.


Pastel orange dress with blue lace detailing.


Pastel peach chiffon frill top with matching long pants.


This outfit reminds me of Chanel instantly especially the jacket. Don’t you feel so ladylike? :3


This jumpsuit is super gorgeous; seldom I come across a jumpsuit like this with beautiful abstract prints. *jaw drops*


One thing that  Le Ann Maxima gotten me obsessed over their collection was their maxi dresses. I love every single one of the maxi dress modeled down on the runway. FYI, I’m not a maxi type person but thanks to  Le Ann Maxima, I want to be one now! *evil laugh*

Low V-cut pink maxi with white stripe panels.


Same design but this maxi features a green, yellow & black abstract prints with blue stripe panels.


This is my top most favorite piece out of the whole collection. The top part features a vibrant colors of sequins where as the bottom part has colorful abstract prints. Together with the green obi belt, you have the perfect party dress. *major loves* I’m hoping to get this dress when they are available for purchase in September. *fingers cross*



Same prints & materials used but this time it is incorporated into a maxi design instead. :)


Gorgeous print maxi dress inspired from Chinoiserie.


A sweet bustier dress matched with a beautiful crystal necklace; suitable for prom I must say.


A gold diva maxi dress with sheer shoulder top, peplum skirt & an open up slit.


White long dress featuring peacock prints at the bottom with a gold color statement necklace to complete the overall look.

After seeing all the outfits shown, I bet most of you wants to get your hands on them right?… Because that’s how I feel right after I watched the fashion show! haha. Le Ann Maxima designers did a great job in portraying the new fabrics, patchworks & energetic colors. This new collections certainly show an ambience of inferred grandeur & luxury with a youthful spirit which I think suits very well in this coming festive season.

If you want to get these stunning outfits, then you have to wait as Le Ann Maxima’s Fall/Holiday 2012/13 Collection will only be available in local & international stores this September. :)

With the gorgeous Ashley Ahn; a lot of people commented that we look like twin sisters in this photo. *giggles*
