cookie monster

Sorry for the lack of updates lately as I have been sick for more than a week. Hopefully I will get better soon. *cross fingers*

Anyways back to the main topic for today.

Firstly I would like to introduce to you my latest member in my small little family. I got him when I was with Mummy celebrating her birthday. I stumbled across him while I was looking for marshmallow. It was like love at first sight. *hearts*

say hello to my super duper adorable Domo-kun which I called him as Cookie Monster. ^.^

he is taking all of my marshmallows!

welcome to the family!
don't they look so sweet together? *hugs*
I love Cookie Monster so much and I can say for those who have met him, they love him as well (you know who you are). *hehe* Oh yea, my sister was the one who suggested that name. *laugh out loud*

Besides that, I would like to share something that I am particularly fond of with all of my dear readers. Is an online blogshop which sells charms. You can use these charms to make bracelets, earrings, necklaces, bag charms and so much more.

Best part of all, you can custom design your charms which I did. *haha* Well that blog is non other than "De Chic Shoppe". In addition, the blog owners who are also the people making the charms are super friendly and nice. *winks*

all the pictures credit to "De Chic Shoppe"

Aren't the bag charms super adorable? My favorite charm of them all is the mini version of Cookie Monster. *evil laughters* I asked Julie (one of the blog owners) to design the marshmallow, the munching Domo-kun and the unicorn.

They have a shelf of cute charms which are ready made that you can choose from or if you want something in particular, you ask them to custom made for you. FYI, those charms are made from clay. So what are you waiting for? Quickly make one for yourself! Click here!

p.s. - finals is starting on next week Monday; I haven't start to study also which means I'm so DEAD! *jump off from a building*

MIA

I'm BACK people!!! *big wide smile*

Thank you for everyone's concern on me, asking what had happen to me as I didn't update my blog for more than a week. I really do feel happy and touch because you guys were asking me how was I, why I didn't update my blog and so on.

I never expected people will follow my blog; nevertheless I will ever anticipate anyone asking me why no updates. Thanks to you guys out there have motivated me even more to continue blogging especially to my dearest friends to keep an update on me. *hugs*

Let me briefly summarize what I had did for the past one week. Weekdays as usual I went for classes at HELP and tried my very best to study every night even though certain nights I failed miserably. *hit my head to the wall*

Then on Friday night, I went to Bukit Kiara Indoor Arena. For what you may ask? Well like I have mentioned in my previous post that I'm working at an event with my sister and it was held at there. I am very sure that this event definitely won't be a stranger to all the Taylorians out there. *drum rolls please* Is none other than the TAYLOR'S CARNIVAL OF COLOURS!

So like you expected from Taylor, it was a massive event. I was so surprise when I reached there and saw the things set up. It was like a circus indoor together with fancy dinner tables and dancefloor. Sorry I didn't manage to take any pictures that day because I was super busy. However I definitely can say it was COLOURFUL.

The event was held on Saturday at 5p.m. Too bad I was station at the registration counter so I missed out most of the fun part. Nevertheless I did entered after my duty ended and I went inside to help out at the information counter. They were like 2000 people during the carnival and like you can imagine all the crew was super busy doing their duties. *we were called the crew*

I wish I was one of the guest who attended the event because the lucky draw prizes are so INCREDIBLE TEMPTING! They were giving out kitchen electronic devices, music players, shopping vouchers worth up to RM2000, Blackberry Bold, 42"inch plasma TV and the best prize was a Dell laptop (I have no idea what model is it) worth RM10,000! *drools all over*

You could imagine how I felt sitting down there hearing them announcing one prize after another and watching other people winning it. *cries* At the end of the day, it was an enjoyable and tiring day for me. Despite not winning any of those prizes, I still get my pay. Wee~ Got extra RM250 but most probably spending it on Mummy's birthday present. Lol!

Oh before I forgot (scare later he will crucified me if I didn't mention him), I would like to say a BILLION thanks to Adrian for fetching me back home for 2 nights in a row after the carnival ended. Now I owe him a dinner as my appreciation for the KINDNESS that he had done for me.

p.s. - I slept practically the whole day on Sunday which caused me unable to sleep at night. @_@

Busy Bee

For the past few weeks I have been busy like nobody business. Studying and working and studying and working, have been my routine lately. I go for classes during the weekdays and occasionally I work on Fridays but most of the time my weekend is pre-book with work.

Even though is tiring but at least my piggy bank won't be that hungry anymore. It is time to feed it well or not it will died due to malnutrition soon. *haha* Same time I need to pay a lot of things on a monthly basic so I do NEED a job on a regular routine (not included certain things that I'm going to get in the very near future which will cost me a bomb!).

One BIG RELIEF is that my Accounts midterm is over (even though I did badly) and I submitted my Economics assignment! *relax on the bed* You have no idea how I feel after these burdens have been lifted off from my shoulder. Thank you God. *winks* Nevertheless I still study everyday whenever I got the time so I won't left out too much (God knows why). Lol!

Just to let everyone know that this weekend and next weekend I'm working again. So sorry to all the people who asked me to go out; we go out next time alright. It seems like work keep on finding me which is a good thing. (not that I'm complaining about it) *hehe* However this weekend so-called-job is a different one.

My all so beautiful, hot and intelligent sister has asked me to be a helper for an event held in Mont Kiara this Friday and Saturday. Originally I have another job on hand for this weekend but since I never experience to be an event helper and is my sister who asked me, of course I would say yes.

Though the hours are a bit weird but roughly the total hours of work are the same with my previous work, just that is on different days. *hehe* Besides, it would be my first time co-operate with my sister in such work and I so can't wait for it. *jump for joys* Best part of all, the salary I'm going to earn is almost the same so it really doesn't matter which work I go to. Lmao! ;P

p.s. - I realized many of my friends still don't know that my old MSN account got hacked so please re-add me at samanthakgss@hotmail.com; thanks a lot everyone! *muacks*

Starbucks Christmas Edition Tumblers

Sniff sniff... I smell Christmas is just around the corner. *teehehe* In collaboration of this spectacular season, Starbucks had just release their Christmas edition of mugs and tumblers! *jumps for joy*

Definitely for a Starbucks lover like me, I wouldn't miss it for the world. If I'm not mistaken it was released on the 3rd November. As I mentioned in my previous post, my friend David is working there so I can get stuff's discount! *weeeeee*

did I mention I got 2 tumblers? *wakakaka*
I instantly fell in love with the glitter design

loving it so much~ is very convenient too as it has a handle

the next one, is super adorable!
can spot something at the bottom? *winks*

is a little bunny on snow!
The original price for the first tumbler is RM69 while the second tumbler is RM48. If you add up, the total will be RM117 right. However, thanks to David *evil grins* I get 30% discount! So I only paid RM81.90 for 2 tumblers!

I mean you can't get any better than that. The tumblers is made of good quality material (as predicted) and the design, well the pictures have spoken for me. *smile* I really didn't regret getting these tumblers, instead I'm loving every minute of it. *hearts*

p.s. - I might getting the mugs too! *laugh out loud*

starbucks

I HEART STARBUCKS!~

I'm pretty sure most of you know I LOVE hanging out at Starbucks. Technically those who are on MSN, Twitter and Facebook knows the best as every time I will "announce" online when ever I am in Starbucks. *winks*

I go to Starbucks every week, normally is once a week whether I'm busy or free. Even I got exams coming up also I will still go. LOL! This shows how much I love it until it becomes my second home.

raspberry blackcurrant ice-blended
Even though I love spending my time at Starbucks but I only go to the Times Square branch. Somehow I find myself really comfortable at there and is convenient for me to travel there as well.

I go so often until I know the staffs there. Well I don't really know them that good but they do recognize me and we chit chat a lot. One thing I didn't know that David was studying in Berjaya Times Square College and he is working at Starbucks too as a part-timer.

I heart chic-o-cheese
Thanks to him, I am able to get staff's discount when ever I get my drinks from there. That might explain why I keep going back there as well. *evil laughter* But this doesn't mean I always get discount as it also depends on situation. *you know what I mean* *hehe*

I'm planning to get a mug from Starbucks soon too. Wee~ I can't wait to get one as I always wanted to get one for so freaking long. However I can't find a design that I like so I am still searching for one that suits me.

Phssssst..... Using Starbucks mug can get RM2 off when you purchase any drinks!

delicious chicken pie
A lot of people keep asking me the same question over and over again which is: "Don't you feel bored being at Starbucks all the time alone?"

My answer is: "Nope, I don't feel so. Instead I feel relax and I love that I can have my own time to be alone while enjoying delicious drinks at the same time".

Satisfy with my answer? ;)

p.s. - even though I have been going to Starbucks for so long but this is my first time taking pictures of their food and drinks. *laughing out loud*

3 days of work

3 days of work have finally come to an end. Wee~

What a great relief for me. Actually my job is not tiring; it was my shoes that made my work so much harder.

for those who haven't know or forgotten, I was selling Dole's pineapple

Thankful to God, this time my work was been cut down a lot as I was constantly being offered help by the staffs at Cold Storage especially a guy who called Albert. Since the first day I started to work, he helped me with numerous things. *no complain at all*

He helped me to open up my booth counter, count the pineapple stocks, put back the booth at the store room when I finished work and etc. *relief* Even minor things such as helped me picked up garbage on the floor, he will also do it. He is a very nice guy I got to say. *winks*

By the way, something hilarious and unexpected thing happened during my break. Cold Storage went BLACKOUT! No joke at all and it happened at 5 p.m. when the crowd is at the highest peak. Guess what else; there were customers in it when it happened!

they closed the gate to prevent people entering
slowly all the customers and workers came out through the side door; all needed to be checked to ensure no one stolen anything out
Surprisingly this is not the first time it happens. According to the staffs at there, it happens quite frequently which shocked me knowing it. Luckily, I only worked there for 3 days. *wicked laughs* I'm being evil, I know! Lol.

Oh! Just to let you guys know that my right feet is healing back slowly. I don't think I have ever experience such a severe blister wound before this. Is damn PAINFUL whenever I take my bath as the water touches the wound, making it very "pedih". (Don't know what to call "pedih" in English)

this is how it looks like on Saturday

current condition of my right feet

Well like the saying goes; no pain no gain. Lmao! Anyways it was worth it as I'm getting a juicy salary from this project. *evil smile* I can't wait to get my salary! I won't reveal how much I'm getting but I will give a hint, above RM400 for 3 days of work. *winks*
