Sushi Zanmai

Yesterday, I had training at Demo Power for my next work project which will begin next week. 2 weeks project but only 4 days of work. Lol. Eventhough not much, at least I can earn about RM500 from this project. After training ended, I went to Midvalley by cab to meet up with Jamie and Amber. I reached there about 4p.m. but both of them were watching movie. So I wonder around in Midvalley while waiting for them.

Guess what happen next?

I signed up to be a member in the Jackie Chan Gym Center! Haha. I always wanted to enter gym for a very long time already but never get a chance to do it. Since now I got a steady income from daddy, *winks*, I'm able to go for gym now. Yippie~~ One thing made me sad, after I did the BMI test, I found out that I got to add on 6.8 kg of muscle mass. I have been trying to loose weight but now I got to gain weight as if I'm not fat enough. Haih. Anyhow, I just want to tone up my body and increase my stamina when I head off to gym. Hopefully I can the slim and fit body that I have always wanted. Hehe

I met up with the gals later and we went to Sushi Zanmai in The Gardens for dinner. Suprisingly the food at there is not expensive at all and is deeliicioussss~~~~ I recommend people to try their food at there. Another thing, if you are a small eater like me, order the small size serving because the large serving is a lot! Lol. After eating the food there, I got a super extreme stomach pain. Sobsob. I don't know whether is the food or I got problem but I'll go there again to eat for sure. No pain no glory right. LMAO! XD

We quickly rushed back to Amber's place as she had piano lesson at 7.30p.m. Unfortunately we didn't make it in time as I was held back in the women's washroom; sorry Amber { :( } but I got to answer mother's nature call. Jaime and I stayover at Amber's house like we always used to do during high school.

Public Enemies

Another movie which I watched previously was the 'Public Enemies'. I can say that this movie will be more entertaining to adults. Is more into those serious type of movie with good script lines for actors to show how well are their acting skills. One thing for sure is that the director did not find the wrong actors for the leading roles; Johnny Depp as John Dillinger, the notorious bank robber and Christian Bale as Melvin Purvis, the leader of the FBI agent. Omg... Both of them look so HOT! Unfortunately both of them are married. :(

This is the story of the last few years of the notorious bank robber John Dillinger. He loved what he did and could imagine little else that would make him happier. Livingly openly in 1930s Chicago, he had the run of the city with little fear of reprisals from the authorities. It's there that he meets Billie Frechette with whom he falls deeply in love. In parallel, comes in Melvin Purvis, the FBI ageng who would eventually track Dillinger down. The FBI was is in its early days and Director L. Edgar Hoover was keen to promote the clean cut image that so dominated the organization through his lifetime. Purvis realizes that if he is going to get Dillinger, he will have to use street tactics and imports appropriate men with police training. Dillinger is eventually betrayed by an acquaintance who tells the authorities just where to find him on a given night.

This movie is based on a true story which makes it more interesting to me. The ending part, John Dillinger got killed by Melvin Purvis and another 2 more FBI agents. In the movie, it is also mentioned that Melvin Purvis quit from the FBI after the incident and commit suicide a year later. Is a sad ending to see both leading man died in the movie. I cried when watching the movie especially the part where John Dillinger died and he was leaving a message to Billie saying "Goodbye black bird..." as he was taking his last breath.

I give the movie 8/10 as it has good story line. Beside is acted by 2 of my favourite actors especially Johnny Depp. Lol. I found that mature, hot and sexy guy turns me on! Can't help it as you don't see these type of guys on the streets right. Haha. However in a nutshell, I do recommend people to watch this movie, is a good show to watch. :D

Harry Potter & The Half-blood Prince

Last Monday, I went to watch 'Harry Potter & The Half-Blood Prince' with Jaime and Suresh. Before that I watched 'Public Enemies' with Jamie. Johnny Deep and Christian Bale looking hot as usual in every movie they act. So I'll be needing a lot of concentration when doing the review on 'Public Enemies'. Lmao! Nevertheless, I'm going to blog about Harry Potter first.

For those who read the book, definitely you know the whole story of Harry Potter like the back of your hand. So no need me to tell you guys hows the story will be like. Unfortunately for me, I stopped reading the book after the 4th sequel because I got bored of it. Thus, I have no idea how the story suppose to be like in the book.

From what my friend told me, the movie deviated again from the original story. I understand that they had to cut short the story or not the movie will be like what, 5 hours long??? Lol. Eventhough I didn't read the book, I was having high expectation towards it but at the end I got disappointed after watching it.

FYI, for those who don't know, this 6th sequel of the moive will be the last time Dumbledore appeared as his character got killed in the end by Severus Snape. I'm not sure whether he is on the good side or the bad side but one thing for sure, he is the half-blood prince. Haha. One thing I notice in every sequel of the movie, surely there will be one character who is loved and cared by Harry Potter get killed. I don't know why but that is what I have observed so far. Lol

At the end, for those who haven't watch it, DON'T put high expectation towards the movie whether you have read the book or not. Otherwise, you will end up in disappointment as I have. For me, I still get the story eventhough I didn't read the book so it doesn't really matters to me much. Overall I rate the movie 5.5/10. Sorry for the harsh comments to all Harry Potter fans but this is how I felt about the movie but not the story book. :)

Visit at HELP

As most of you know (if I'm not wrong) I went to HELP University College yesterday with my dad to inquiry about their courses and facilities available there. We were lost for a short period of time looking for HELP as the main campus is underground so making it very hard to spot it. Haha. Once we were there, we talked to the counselor about what I want to do and the counselor told me that I have an advantage with my flexibility. No, not the body flexibility but my academic wise. Judging from my results from SPM and Pre-U, he said I can do both engineering and business equally well so now it all boils down to what I have more interest in. But if I'm going to do at HELP, definitely will be business degree since engineering course at private university cost a bomb.

So my dad told me if I really want to do business degree, the condition is that I got to pay him back RM6000 that he spent in UTAR for my first semester and I must have an outstanding result in the business course as there are a lot of people studying business. In other words, I got to work my ass off when I go to HELP. I'll be entering the October intake which its commencemnt date is on the 7th October '09. I can't believe it that I can enroll in HELP, is like a dream come true to me so I'll definitely will work hard to get the best achievement as I can and prove to my dad that I am not what as he thinks I am. So now I got to find as much money as I can within in these 2 months in order to pay my dad back. Anyone of you who knows where got high pay salary please do tell me aite. I would deeply appreciate it. :)

After that, I met up with Jamie and there was this maybeline stage set up in the foyer at HELP. They were asking people to fill in forms and each person can get a free make up, snap pictures and get free make up cosmetics also. Initially I didn't want to go for it but Jamie persuaded me to do it also. Jamie did it first then I follow her next. I'm kinda glad that I did it because the first and last time I make up was in form 4 for IU dinner. I totally forgotten how I look like in make up and I do really like the end result especially at my eyes where we can choose what colour eye shadow we want so I picked blue as is my favourite colour. Hehe. When comes to take pictures by the photographer, I took 8 times compare to the normal 2 times. Somehow everytime he snap a picture of me, it didn't send to the computer. Lol

Later, we went to Times Square to watch movies. It was a movie marathon day. We reached TS about 12.20p.m. and immediately we went to get movie tickets at 12.30p.m. for Public Enemies and another 3 tickets for Harry Potter: The Half Blood Prince at 5.30p.m. We didn't expected to watch 2 movies but I really enjoyed it. Haha. For me both the movies were alright but I did expected more from Harry Potter so I got a bit disappointed after watching it. Both movies were quite long, around 2 hours plus. I'll be doing a review for both the movies soon.

So in between the movies break, me and Jaime went window shopping until to Sungei Wang while waiting for Suresh to join us later for Harry Potter. To my very own suprise, I bought my very first own Zippo! For those who don't know what is that, is a very popular brand for lighter and I did not buy it for smoking! Actually I wanted it to learn how to play tricks with it since dear and Derrick influence me with their Zippos a lot. Lol. We got still a lot of time before the movie starts so what does gals normally do when they are bored and have camera phone? Camwhore session! XD

New Chapter

This post is going to be a long one, so if you don't have the patience to read through it then I suggest you to slowly read it. Lol!

Well lately everthing has been crazy for me. Firstly I was busy finishing up assignments, lab reports and tutorials but now I don't even give a damn about it anymore. Making sure of what I want, I have decided that engineering is not the right course for me anymore. The more I force myself to learn about it, the more hatred I gained towards it. Finally after considering in for nearly about a month, I have made my decision to stop my engineering course in Utar. I know many people will say I shouldn't give up that easily after put in so much effort; I know deep within myself I do not have the passion for it. I don't want to force myself to learn something that I dislike just for the sake of it. Is not worth it to me and making myself suffer. After I had made up my mind, I have decided what course I want to take in the future and I took all the might and courage within myself to tell my dad. Honestly, it takes a lot of mental preparation to tell this to my dad. I have decided to choose Bachelor of Business majoring in Marketing as my future degree course.

The conversation I had with my dad was very emotionally as usual whenever I discuss something serious with him. It just hurt me deeply when my dad do not support me in my education as I want him to be. Nevertheless, life goes on right. However my discussion did bring some result which I consider is alright for me. My dad agreed to let me change course but he insisted me to do it back in Utar. But I managed to persuade my dad to let go to another university instead. My first option was Monash University as usual but my dad firmly disagreed with me going there as the tuition fee was too much for him to handle. If I did it in Monash, it will cost my dad RM84K for the 3 years degree so per annum got to pay RM28K which is why my dad so against it but I still send in my application to Monash just in case. Haha. So next I look for more other options available which my dad requested me to; I end up come out with 3 possible universities which I can go to that are HELP University, Sunway University and Taylors University.

The university that I think my dad highly would ask me to go to is HELP University because among those 3, it has the most reasonable tuition fee. I consider it to be quite cheap actually since my whole degree course cost only RM50K and I'll be doing the papers from University of East London. Technically I will be learning in HELP but my exam papers will be graded according to UEL standards. Means when I graduate, my certificate will be given to me by UEL and not HELP. Comparing it to the rest, it has one of the best solution for my scenario now. So I think thats the best option for me and my dad now. My dad got so relief when he heared that he just need to spend RM50K instead of RM84K. Can see it in his face very obviously. I pray and hope I will can get into HELP now. I'm going to HELP this coming Monday with my dad to let my dad decide whether I can enroll at there, hopefully I can apply when I'm there and at the same time, Jaime will going to HELP as well to send in her application form too.

Now what I can do is cross my fingers and hopes for the best that everything goes well as I wish for. :D

So Many Things, So Little Time

It has been a week since I last updated my blog. Officially the longest one so far yet. Lol. This comes to show how busy I have been for the past whole week. Another reason as well was my house internet connection was down unable me to online too. Luckily it is alright now. I have handed in my AutoCAD assignment and went for static lab experiment also. So I got to hand in 2 lab reports this coming Tuesday. I got 3 exam this coming week which are on Monday, Thursday and Friday. I need a miracle to save me! >.<

Anyways, on Friday I celebrated Amber's birthday and yesterday, Saturday, I celebrated Cindy's birthday. Lol. 2 consecutive birthday celebration I had with 2 of my best friends and I enjoyed a lot. On top of that, I managed to get the things I wanted on both days! I got myself a dress (which I didn't plan to get), bagpack and water bottle.I never intended to shop but like people always says: "when you plan to shop, you can't get the things you want but when you don't plan to shop, you see the things that you want".

The best part of all, I got to see my dear after so long. When I saw him, makes me realize even more how much I miss him. Talking about it, making me missing him more now. Nevertheless, you'll always be in my heart. :)

University Busy Life

Sorry for that lack of upates lately. Somehow I found myself got caught up with a lot things in university now. Maybe one of the main reason is that I'm unable to say "NO"? I find myself very hard to say "NO" to people unless I'm in a bad mood or something. I know, I am a very emotional person and I'm not afraid to admit.

Let me list down the things awaiting for me this month as it will be a super hectic crazy month. I got 7 labs report to be done, Fluid Mechanics and Mathematics Test 1 on week 7 and week 8 respectively. Besides that, this coming Thursday I got to hand in my AutoCAD assignment and the following week is the AutoCAD exam. Then I agreed to help out John for his project in his society as the secretary somemore. I really find myself in a big mess now. OMG..... God please help me! >.<

Anyways I just watched Night in The Museum 2 at KLCC with my dad. It was an impromptu outing again suggested by my dad. He always tell me things at the eleventh hour. Nevertheless, I enjoyed myself watching the movie. A lot people said the movie wasn't that nice but for me I like it as I laughed a lot. Lol. I will post up about the movie soon after I settle all of my things. I wonder is it possible? LMAO! XD
